The imperial war machine in Israel, funded by US and its enablers, has been manufacturing starvation and hunting children inside Gaza, the world’s largest concentration camp, for almost 2 years as of this writing in June 2025.
Imperial powers decided that weapons testing is ok on a civilian population that is more than 50 percent children. Drones, quadcopters, AI-powered tech, and new bombs that shred bodies in a unique way are all deployed on children in Gaza by Israel, a colony of the US.
Everyone deserves the safety to play and create. No art as usual during genocide. I’m a Jewish mother whose grandparents survived the Nazi holocaust. I reject zionism and have a moral responsibility to act for the safety of people surviving extermination. — LB

Watercolor portraits OF families in Gaza
2025-2023
Join me to help survivors of extermination. My intention is to honor Palestinian families through portraiture, to help my friends survive genocide, and to re-humanize them.
Linked to each portrait is a survival fund that has been carefully vetted and verified by the global mutual aid collective of which I’m a part: Bees & Watermelons, or by Operation Olive Branch and Butterfly Effect Project. Click on a portrait, go to a family’s survival fund, and consider giving regularly. I don’t take any proceeds or make any money from this project. Thank you for supporting survivors. — LB
“Influence the influencers”
— Shahid Bolsen
2024
I created watercolor and acrylic ink portraits of influencers who use their platforms to denounce oppression, extermination, and genocide. Each portrait links to a verified family in Gaza, where everyone is still trapped. Through mutual aid given to their vetted campaigns (funds are linked to the images), these families are able to access care.

Drawings of Palestinian Land, Olive Trees, and Ancient Natural Beauty
2024-2023
The Al-Aqsa Flood in Oct 2023 was provoked by generations-long Israeli apartheid, colonialism, and occupation of Palestine.
The occupation is funded by US/Western Imperialists and war profiteers, who bankroll the Israeli government to continue to commit unconscionable catastrophic acts of extermination, genocide and ecocide in occupied Palestine. Settlers burn and cut down ancient olive trees to erase everything Indigenous and Native to Palestine.
